Winds Of Change is a Charitable Organisation, run by elected trustees, which aims to bring benefits to the Cawdor and West Nairnshire Area.  The trustees have the main objective to support projects that make a positive difference to life in the local community.

The main source of funding comes from Nan Clach Ltd., who are the operators of the Tom Nan Clach Windfarm which sits south of Nairn on the Cawdor Estate.

The Fund has been developed to support projects which are based within, and will be of direct benefit to, residents of Cawdor & West Nairnshire.   It has an annual index linked budget of more than £62,000 per annum for the next 25 years and is managed by The Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation 'Cawdor and West Nairnshire Community Benefit Organisation' (C&WNCBO).   C&WNCBO was set up to administer the income from the  Winds of Change Tom nan Clach Windfarm specifically for the benefit of the Cawdor and West Nairnshire area.

This fund offers an amazing opportunity for local people to invest in their community with their ideas – building on all that is best in the area in which they live.
